The logo, which was created by abstracting the mosaics of Istanbul (Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu "Istanbul" Mosaic) and Anatolian rug motifs (Bukağı symbol, which symbolizes unity and togetherness) , aimed to reflect the spirit of Istanbul in accordance with the Olympics.
